Anita Smith has worked in creative industries since 1982 as a typographer, editor and in the studio as graphic artist. After a career break to raise her children, Anita returned to college to study photography from darkroom to print.

She has worked as a commercial photographer for 10 years with clients throughout the UK, and for the last 8 years has also run online liverpoolgallery.com for local artists and photographers.

Anita has exhibited in Liverpool, London and Edinburgh at the Stills Gallery and Open Eye, and also at several local exhibitions including the Albert Dock and solo shows at Blackburne House.
