Christine Enright was born in Widnes, Cheshire and studied illustration at Manchester. She began her career as a photographic restorer and became a free-lance artist in 1993.
She has since enjoyed many aspects of art, including portraiture and art restoration, working between home and a studio in Seel Street, Liverpool.
Her work is sometimes humorous with the aim of appealing to our child-like and mischievous side. Some of her recent works have an increasing emphasis on colour and have been produced on a larger scale.
Christine is currently exploring light as a theme and how it can hopefully elevate a subject into something wonderful.
