Salvatore Mellina was born in Polistena in the province of Calabria, Southern Italy. From a young age Salvatore was showing a keen interest in the arts and painting in particular.
A self taught artist Salvatore has been influenced by the Impressionist painters and importantly by the surroundings in which he lives. This is evident in the choice of colours in his paintings.
Salvatore has decided recently to show some of his work and is hugely delighted to have this exhibition of his works at The Gallery Liverpool. The city of Liverpool is very close to his heart having spent several years there in his youth and is thrilled to be back showcasing his work.
