Steve Williams is a self taught Liverpool artist. Born in 1946, he attended Liverpool College of Art in the mid 1960's following a secondary modern education at Sefton Park School, Smithdown Road.
Watercolour is his preferred medium, though works in Acrylic and Oils have been collected throughout North West England, Ireland, Switzerland, America and Australia.
A series of seven acrylic works are on permanent display at St Thomas the Martyr Church, Up Holland, depicting various views, moods and periods of the church.
His style is representational using strong colour and form as can be perceived from his works in this gallery. His subject portfolio is wide, though architectural work forms a major part of this
